The Way of the Heart Podcast is a conversation with Jake Khym about journeying through life with a heart fully alive.  It’s produced with men in mind, but anyone can benefit. We’ve released 32 episodes, have over 26,000 downloads and a 5-star review rating.

These recent reviews were a blessing to read:

“These episodes are incredible! Not too long and full of practical advice on raising holy children and developing deep and meaningful relationships.”

“A priest friend of mine shared the Way of the Heart podcast with me just last night. So I listened throughout the day and came home really inspired. My wife and I did the “what would you say to your 20 year old self”, and that took us on a 2-hour long conversation – one of the best conversations we’ve had in our almost 6 year marriage.”

I want to give you a brief description of a few recent episodes and also leave you a link where you can download all 32 episodes.

The Books we Need. In this episode Jake and I talk about a book entitled, The Five Love Languages.  For the past 20 years, this book has been a staple gift for any newly married couples. Hard to believe it was written over 25 years ago but the insight is a relevant and practical today as it was when Gary Chapman first wrote it.

Discernment of Spirits. In this two-part episode, Jake shares about his experiences on an 8 day retreat, especially what he learned about the discernment of spirits.

True Boldness. We discuss how true boldness is manifesting the heart of Jesus in a given situation. By examining scenes from Jesus’ life, it becomes clear that boldness is a wonderful and essential part of authentic masculinity.

Apology & Friendship.  This episode was completely unscripted. I initiate an unplanned, honest conversation about my friendship with Jake and various things getting in the way of our fellowship.

Privilege and Sacrifice. Jake and I talk about masculinity in modern culture and how the heart of masculinity isn’t privilege, bravado, passivity, or power. Rather, authentic masculinity is dangerous, good, and sacrificial.

New episodes come out every second Monday. Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss a single episode. If you can, please leave a rating and a review as this will help others find the show.

Have a great week!
